What is a 'resculpt'?
Previously, you may have heard me use the term 'upscale' or 'rescale' when asked to fit a piece of gear to a specific body. Procedural modeling is the standard way we modders produce those rescales, because they produce a very accurate model of the vanilla gear with the proportions of the modded body. I no longer work in procedural modeling.
I still work on gear, however, I just produce 'resculpts' instead of 'rescales.'
There's a bit of technical information I'd have to explain in order to tell you precisely what that means, but suffice it to say, instead of using procedural methods, I now almost exclusively hand-sculpt gear to match the desired silhouette.
What does this mean for you? How does this differ from what procedural modelers provide?
I can provide you a wide variety of customization quickly, on only one body type at a time. When you commission me for a gear piece, you will receive 1 piece, for a single body type, tailored to your ideal silhouette, edits, etc. (unless you decide to purchase multiple sculpts.) Basically, I'm the wanky, niche version of other modders when it comes to gear.
My friend and mentor, Red, on the other hand, can provide faster service for multiple body types at once for a fraction of the price per unit, so check them out. They are truly a magician.
